The 2019-20 Budget Committee met on Monday, April 29th to review the school budget for the next school year. The budget was approved and will go to the District Board for the final approval..
Thank you to the community members, parents, board members, teachers, and staff who spent time supporting the school. A public meeting of the Budget Committee of the Days Creek School District #15, Douglas County, State of Oregon, will be held at the Days Creek Charter School, 11381 Tiller Trail Hwy., Days Creek, Oregon to discuss the budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2020. The meeting will take place on April 29, 2022 at 5:00 p.m.
The purpose of the meeting is to receive the budget message and to receive comment from the public on the budget. This is a public meeting where deliberation of the Budget Committee may take place. Any person may appear at the meeting and discuss the proposed programs with the Budget Committee. A copy of the budget document may be inspected or obtained at the meeting. If additional meetings for deliberation are required, they will be scheduled at this meeting. Days Creek Charter School is in the news again. The Wolves finished 3rd place at the OSAA 1A state tournament in Baker City. The Lady Wolves played hard and finished 0-2 at the 1A state tournament.

Congrats to the Girls Basketball Team who defeated Country Christian Saturday evening, 68 - 61. With the win, both the Boys AND Girls will advance to the state quarterfinals next week. Boys Basketball State Quarterfinals - Wednesday, 2/27 8:15 p.m. Baker High School http://www.osaa.org/activities/bbx/brackets Girls Basketball State Quarterfinals - Thursday, 2/28 3:15 p.m. Baker High School http://www.osaa.org/activities/gbx/brackets Twenty people, consisting of parents, community members, board members, teachers and staff, came to the meeting to discuss the Continuous Improvement Plan (CIP) for Days Creek Charter School on Thursday, February 21. All districts must submit a continuous improvement plan to Oregon Department of Education every three years. The purpose is to set forth a vision, strategic plan, and evaluation for continuous improvement. The meeting started with evaluating the Mission/Vision Statement. Participants chose committees in which to laser focus strategic planning and evaluating. The next CIP Meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, March 12 at 6 p.m. in Room 215.
